Ron, I love it! In fact, I need a
few more as I just went broke buying all new equipment.

Hi Ron, Thanks for the samples,
and for the speedy delivery. I have a ball I bought just to try
the weight (14#). The thumb hole was a bit too large, but the span
was perfect, and replacing the thumb slug with one that fit me
would have widened the span, so I just used 3 pieces of tape at
the bottom of the hole to fill up the extra space. Since your
materials say that a piece of Magic Carpet takes the place of 3 or
4 pieces of tape, it seemed like the perfect ball to try out the
Magic Carpet. The first time I used it, it felt great. I
made the mistake of opening the hole up a bit with sandpaper, and
then it was a little too big <sigh>. So I inserted a piece
of tape at the top of the thumbhole. Now it felt really
great! But as the practice session went on, I started noticing
some pain on the knuckle of the thumb when I threw the ball. Looks
like I made the fit a bit too tight, ripped a small piece of skin
off my thumb. Anyway, I really like how well it works. I think
it's important to get the proper fit (not too tight), so I'll try
it again when the skin heals, and let you know how it goes

Well...here is my report on
Ron's Magic Carpets. Used them in two different strike balls last
night in a sport league. All I can say is they are GREAT!!!
Shot 207 first game, then 237 with first 6 with an older Ti Boss
and then changed to a Command Zone for last game and shot 187.
This is not on a walled up/top hat lane condition. As many
of us know a good release and thumb clearing cleanly out of the
ball on well fitted equipment is one of the hardest things to do.
Ron's Carpet's solve a lot of these problems for me. We all
can get the newest, hookingest, mega monster but it still comes
down to technique and Ron's invention effects technique.
Way to go Ron! I just ordered 10 more thru Paypal.

Ron, thanx for the samples. I had
intended to save them for the juniors travel team practice on
Saturday, but curiosity got the best of me. I was amazed to say
the least. I had the cleanest, most consistent release that I can
remember. I found that I could remove 1 piece of white tape and 3
pieces of black from each ball and the Magic Carpet easily filled
that void. I had no problems with redness on the knuckle of the
thumb. I did have several other bowlers express interest and have
placed an order that should satisfy their initial demand. Thanx
again and congrats on a great product.

Ron, Thanks for the
quick delivery. I tried mine last week in a ball that was
too tight for it. I still go out pretty good and was throwing
faster and with more revs and hit. (due to tightness had to sort
of flip it hard off my thumb. Took it out and went to throw
thinking the ball would be too loose and the ball would not come
off that easy. Actually a hang spot near the top of the thumb.

Ron---Your product will sell itself if people get a chance to
use it. While you do not need any more endorsements, I want to
share with you my experience. Without actually realizing it, my
thumb must have shrunk to a degree due to colder weather and my
thumb hole was looser than I realized. If we do the same thing
over and over, after a while, it begins to feel normal so I guess
I felt my thumb hole was ok. After using the carpet, I had a much
better grip on the ball and am happy to report scores of 664, 676
and 698 in leagues and a 230 ave in a pot game. I now realize that
I was letting the ball slip off my hand a bit too early before
adding the carpet. If ones hole is snug as it is, then they do not
need the carpet, but if the holes is just a tad large, the carpet
is so much better than tape that one should never have to use tape
again. I know we spoke about my commission, so let me know when I
can expect to see the "check is in the mail".

After my league tonight, I took some time
to play with the new Magic Carpet in one of my old balls. I found
that I did need to pull out 3 to 4 pieces of white tape from the
ball (normally I have to run 4 to 6 pieces of white tape under the
thumb), so the Magic Carpet allowed me to decrease some of my span
stretch (caused by the excessive amount of tape I had previously
used). Pulling 3 pieces of white left things a little bit tight,
but the 4th left things a tad loose....I imagine that once the
Carpet breaks in, I'll be back to pulling 3 pieces of white tape.
By the third practice game, I was in the 230 range, even with an
open thrown in along the way. I'm still feeling my way into the
Magic Carpet, but I do believe that I'll be sending in another
order very soon! I did feel like I gained a little bit of
revolution on the ball with the Magic Carpet, but I'll continue to
test it out to be for sure. So far, so good.

I received my samples monday, and tried them on Tuesday, in
practice. I was impressed to say the least. My thumb was a little
irritated and red but my release was flawless, for possible 95% of
my shots. the lanes where in very poor condition and nothing was
carrying, but i was targeting consistently. I will do more testing
possibly tonight or tomorrow, but i am satisfied with the results
so far.
Thanks RonC.

After the first night with the
Magic Carpet, thought it was a fluke and wanted to get a few more
games in.
Have raised my average 5 pins on both leagues the last two weeks.
806 - 747 at the easy house, 630 - 726 at the tough one. My thumb
shrinks as the nite goes on making me put in a piece of black
tape. The carpet seems to contract and expand eliminating that
problem. Usually I would add a piece of tape one or two frames to
late.

Ron,
Thanks for the samples! I finally got a chance to try it out. I
didn't have an old ball to test with because I got rid of my old
stuff. I recently bought a new ball and was still working out
thumbhole issues when I received the samples. I was really
struggling with my thumb swelling because I couldn't get the fit
right. I decided to quit trying to tweak, bowl, tweak, bowl and
just sanded out enough of my thumbhole to allow for the Magic
Carpet. That did the trick! No more thumb sticking or release
troubles. I was able to relax my grip and make clean shots.
Accuracy went way up! No more swelling! I'm very pleased with the
results. There was a little redness after the first three games,
but the next time I went to the lanes there was no redness. I've
shot 10 games with it now and I couldn't be happier with it. My
thumb is actually healing for a change vs. getting worse every
time I bowl.
Thanks again!

Hello I love the magic carpet. It makes my thumbhole feel a
little smaller and know I can't feel myself squeeze the ball like
I used to

I liked to thank-you Ron for your samples. I have showed them
to quite a few people and a couple of pro shop owners. They have
all expressed an interest in your product and have copied down
your e-mail add. I actually got to try the "Magic
Carpets" a couple of weeks ago and will now tell you my
experience with them. I installed the Carpets in a couple of balls
that normally had 3-4 pieces of white tape in them. Checked the
fit and thought that this was pretty tight, but tried it out on
the lanes and was pleasantly surprised at how easy my thumb came
out the ball. To me, it was a miracle, cause i had a problen
before with squeezing the ball at times and this has solved that
problem. Second thing this helped me on, was i am no longer having
to add and subtract a piece of tape all the time trying to find
the "perfect" fit and proper release. Excellent product
Ron. Will be ordering more as my son is now interested and he
wants some and i need to fill the rest of my balls with the Magic
Carpet. Thanks again.

Hello Ron:
I thought that I would start a new page because I can't seem to
find the old one. Well I tried the samples and here is my review.
First I had to open up the sides of the thumb hole a bit to get
the carpet in. It was a definite snug fit. After throwing three
games on it, it made the back of my thumb shiny and I could tell
that I would need to get used to that. However I had a great fit
and my release became more constant. Since I only bowl with one
hand I will give it one thumb up and will be contacting you
shortly to order some more. I have also showed it to some of the
league bowlers who may be interested in it. Anyone who has trouble
getting a comfortable fit should try it.

My initial impressions:
I had recently been having issues grabbing the ball. This related
to the fact that my thumb holes just didn't quite fit right and it
seemed that no matter what I did with tape I couldn't get a good
feeling. Tuesday night I tried the Magic Carpet...What a
difference!! I pulled all but 1 piece of tape from both of the
balls that I tried them in. I used the Magic Carpet during league
and I must say that I got the smoothest release with the least
effort that I have felt in a while. I also experienced no redness
or irritation of my thumb.
I plan on giving the "Carpet" another workout tonight
during league again and will report back with any further
findings.
So far rating it an "A".
Thanks Ron!

Thanks ron. I received the carpets a week ago. I tried them out on
sunday and haven't had time to come on and post. well I loved the
thing. sure it took about an hour or so redrilling and sanding out
one ball to the thing to fit. but it takes that long when I get a
new ball drilled anyway. on sunday, my travel league went to a
small wooden house, lanes were flooded. like 2-2 shot to about 35.
not really sure of the pattern but no one got much movement. first
game I shot like a 220 something, pretty good for this shot. as
the day went along I got a worse but I couldn't throw anything
else, the carpet allows my thumb to swell and shrink and not have
to take like 15 minutes to adjust the thumb every 5 frames. my
favorite coach toop a look at it and said he had never seen one of
those.but he had a friend how used to bowl who used thumb pillows.
so he's gonna get me one of those to try. I don't need to try
those things. the magic carpet is the best thumb product I've ever
used. on a side note, I got some redness on the back of my thumb
as you said, but I always get some redness. so I'll be ordering
some more of these things soon.

Ron,
My Magic Carpet arrived last night and I placed them in my 2 favorite
balls. a TPS III and Labyrinth. Today at league, I warm up with
both balls and decided to use the TPS III. Feels a bit weird
on the first few throws. I feel something at the back of my thumb.
My first game with the TPS was 151. On my second game, decide to
ignore the thumb feeling and move in deeper throw harder, a 279
with a spare on the first frame. Third game, 269.
Things happens when I trust my release, knowing the the Magic
Carpet will not allow the ball to hang up on release. Ball goes
free and smooth.
Great stuff Ron. My Pro-shop guy is showing some interest. Only
thing left is to see how many games it'll last and see if at
C$3.20 a piece is marketable here.
Thanks Ron.

Sunday night I was struggling about the end of the second
game. Our lane broke down and we were moved. I could not find my
line with my Ti Messenger Pearl. I switched to my 4-D HPT but
having too loose a thumb, I wasn't doing good. I put in a MC. No
practice throw. Just went up and bowled normally. It was the best
release I ever experienced. My thumb holes are big as my thumb is
double jointed and comes out causing a vacuum. The MC totally
eliminated this problem. IF I would have done this earlier it
would have at least been a clean game. No opens after inserting
the MC.
