Hello Ron:
I thought that I would start a new page because I can't seem to find the old one. Well I tried the samples and here is my review.
First I had to open up the sides of the thumb hole a bit to get the carpet in. It was a definite snug fit. After throwing three games on it, it made the back of my thumb shiny and I could tell that I would need to get used to that. However I had a great fit and my release became more constant. Since I only bowl with one hand I will give it one thumb up and will be contacting you shortly to order some more. I have also showed it to some of the league bowlers who may be interested in it. Anyone who has trouble getting a comfortable fit should try it.

My initial impressions:
I had recently been having issues grabbing the ball. This related to the fact that my thumb holes just didn't quite fit right and it seemed that no matter what I did with tape I couldn't get a good feeling. Tuesday night I tried the Magic Carpet...What a difference!! I pulled all but 1 piece of tape from both of the balls that I tried them in. I used the Magic Carpet during league and I must say that I got the smoothest release with the least effort that I have felt in a while. I also experienced no redness or irritation of my thumb.
I plan on giving the "Carpet" another workout tonight during league again and will report back with any further findings.
So far rating it an "A".
Thanks Ron!

Thanks ron. I received the carpets a week ago. I tried them out on sunday and haven't had time to come on and post. well I loved the thing. sure it took about an hour or so redrilling and sanding out one ball to the thing to fit. but it takes that long when I get a new ball drilled anyway. on sunday, my travel league went to a small wooden house, lanes were flooded. like 2-2 shot to about 35. not really sure of the pattern but no one got much movement. first game I shot like a 220 something, pretty good for this shot. as the day went along I got a worse but I couldn't throw anything else, the carpet allows my thumb to swell and shrink and not have to take like 15 minutes to adjust the thumb every 5 frames. my favorite coach toop a look at it and said he had never seen one of those.but he had a friend how used to bowl who used thumb pillows. so he's gonna get me one of those to try. I don't need to try those things. the magic carpet is the best thumb product I've ever used. on a side note, I got some redness on the back of my thumb as you said, but I always get some redness. so I'll be ordering some more of these things soon.

Ron,
My Magic Carpet arrived last night and I placed them in my 2 favorite balls. a TPS III and Labyrinth. Today at league, I warm up with both balls and decided to use the TPS III.  Feels a bit weird on the first few throws. I feel something at the back of my thumb.
My first game with the TPS was 151. On my second game, decide to ignore the thumb feeling and move in deeper throw harder, a 279 with a spare on the first frame. Third game, 269.
Things happens when I trust my release, knowing the the Magic Carpet will not allow the ball to hang up on release. Ball goes free and smooth.
Great stuff Ron. My Pro-shop guy is showing some interest. Only thing left is to see how many games it'll last and see if at C$3.20 a piece is marketable here.
Thanks Ron.

Sunday night I was struggling about the end of the second game. Our lane broke down and we were moved. I could not find my line with my Ti Messenger Pearl. I switched to my 4-D HPT but having too loose a thumb, I wasn't doing good. I put in a MC. No practice throw. Just went up and bowled normally. It was the best release I ever experienced. My thumb holes are big as my thumb is double jointed and comes out causing a vacuum. The MC totally eliminated this problem. IF I would have done this earlier it would have at least been a clean game. No opens after inserting the MC.
